Arc Flash Helmet SKYTEC E Pro for GLOBUS GROUP
From the initial idea to series production, our design and engineering team developed the SKYTEC E Pro arc flash helmet for the GLOBUS GROUP. An arc flash helmet is used when working on electrical systems to protect people from the dangers of an arc flash event. The E Pro consists of a PC-ABS outer shell, an EPS inner shell, and a fully retractable face shield. It weighs a sensational 700 g and is the first arc flash helmet to meet the certification requirements for Type 2 (working at height).
The design deliberately stands out from the technical design language customary in the industry. The helmet impresses with its functional transparency and its consistent and dynamic design. The visor emphasizes the chin line and chin area, which also creates additional space and fits snugly into the shell when the visor is retracted.
Clear light edges structure the overall soft shape. The line that runs across the helmet shell continues into the side ear flaps, making them appear more delicate. Another line extends to the back of the neck area and structures it. This makes the E Pro appear much more compact than it is.
The E Pro provides excellent protection with a robust PC/ABS shell and foam-padded interior. It is equipped with an integrated, retractable visor that features a double lock, level B impact resistance, and anti-fog and scratch protection. The helmet has an adjustable 4-point chin strap, a ratchet system for adjustment, and an adjustable headband for a secure fit. The inner lining is softly padded and has a removable sweatband for added comfort.
