Our engineering team in Zurich has developed a modular in-house helmet test rig capable of performing tests according to all major international standards.

This setup allows us to test new developments and competitor products directly and without delays, integrating the results immediately into our design and engineering process. The system provides deep technical insights and significantly accelerates development cycles.

The test stand currently covers the following standards: EN397, EN812, EN12492, EN14052, ANSI Z89-1, and AS/NZS 1801. Additional standards such as EN966, EN1077, and EN1078 are planned. Force measurement and data analysis are performed using Kistler piezo sensors, ensuring high precision and reliability.

This project demonstrates how 4TEC Engineering and Schuler Produktdesign combine technical expertise and product understanding to drive innovation in helmet design and validation.
